Diamond Select Toys: Star Trek: The Original Series
Star Trek
Lt. Commander Montgomery Scott

Character Bio:
By Jay Shepard
"Space...the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before."

If Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott couldn't fix the problem, there was no way it was ever going to get fixed! Montgomery Scott, or Scotty to his friends, was fond of his whisky. Almost as much as being an engineer! Serving as second officer, after Spock, Scotty relished his job looking after 'his' beautiful ship. He was famous for indicating all the ways that a job was impossible to accomplish, yet he was able to find some way to complete the task. Thus, Kirk dubbed him the 'miracle worker' and his exploits became legendary in the annals of Starfleet lore. Whether he was repairing the dilithium crystals, risking his life in the matter-antimatter reactor or having a wee bit of fun, transporting tribbles onto a Klingon vessel, no other crew member took his job with more zeal or enthusiasm.

Lt. Commander Montgomery Scott was released in 2002 as part of the second wave of figures in Art Asylum’s Star Trek: The Original Series collection. Unlike James Doohan, the late actor who played Scotty, who was missing the middle finger on his right hand this figure has five digits on each hand.
