In the annals of the Federation, no one person has commanded as much respect as Commander Spock. Born to a Vulcan father and a human mother, Spock felt out of place in either culture. He was constantly seeking the approval of his father while struggling with the inner turmoil that his human blood gave him. It was serving under Captain Christoper Pike as the Science Officer for the Enterprise that gave him his first taste of exploration with Starfleet. But it would be his next Captain that would provide Spock with the thing he truly craved; friendship. James Kirk would be the one person to accept Spock for who he was. Their friendship would pass thru many tests, including dealing with the loss of Spock's sight, to his understanding of human emotions, to the deadly mating ritual induced by plak tow. Thru all these trials, Kirk stayed close by Spock's side to teach him the most important of all human traits, loyalty. One that Spock would pay back in kind over the many adventures the two had together.
Spock was released in the first wave of figures in Art Asylum’s 2002 Star Trek: The Original Series action figure collection.
