Located near the planet Bajor, the Deep Space Nine space station is the last stop on the trip through a wormhole to the Gamma Quadrant. On board, many different races and individuals must learn to get along with one another as they explore new frontiers and civilizations.
Jadzia Dax was the eighth host of the Dax symbiont, having succeeded Curzon Dax. Curzon Dax had been a friend with Benjamin Sisko, and that friendship continued with Jadzia. She became Sisko's science officer aboard Deep Space Nine leading to many adventures. She would go on to marry Worf, after his transfer from the Enterprise to Deep Space Nine, and spend many happy moments with him. Unfortunately their marriage would not last, as Gul Dukat, who had been possessed by a Pah-wraith, killed her shortly after. The Dax symbiote would go on to live within Ezri Dax.
