In the series finale, "All Good Things," Captain Picard is jumping between timelines, and in an alternate future he meets his former second-in-command, William Riker, who is now an Admiral. Riker, has become a bitter and agressive leader, having suffered those loss of his Imzadi, Deanna Troi, who died under mysterious circumstances, which also lead to the estrangement of Worf. Initially Riker does not believe Picard's tale of time traveling, thinking he is just suffering from Irumodic Syndrome, but eventually comes to his aide, working on concert with the Enterprise's from two other times to close the warp anomaly causing Picard's travel's.
