Some time after the five-year mission of the Enterprise, and Kirk has accepted the rank of Admiral, he and his former first officer are reunited for a mission, the like of which they have never seen. An unknown alien probe, known only as V'ger has entered the solar system and is heading straight for Earth. The crew of the USS Enterprise is assembled and sent off to stop the strange energy cloud. Spock encountered the probe calling to him during his search for kolinahr. Kirk was pulled back from a desk job he was not meant for. Together these two, along with Captain Decker and Lieutenant Ilia discover that V'ger only wants what any sentient being is looking for: answers. Answers to the mysteries of life and creation. Kirk and Spock witness thebirth of a new organism as Decker and Ilia are absorbed into the 'consciousness' of V'ger upon which, it vanishes. The Human adventure is just beginning.
The Motion Picture two pack was released in the forth quarter of 2008.
