Snake Eyes returns in Renegades as the fan-favorite masked face of GI Joe franchise. The unstoppable silent ninja once again has a past with Scarlett which remains largely unrevealed to the viewer, but in no way compromises his calm, cool demeanor and dedication to the Arashikage Clan. Whether he is locked in battle with his ninja counterpart Storm Shadow or aiding the Joes in their attempt to reveal Cobra as a terrorist group, Snake Eyes proves yet again that without his assistance, the Joes' efforts to clear their names is nearly an impossible task.
The Renegades version of Snake Eyes uses the body and legs from Resolute Snake Eyes, but the head is borrowed from the popular Pursuit of Cobra wave 3 figure while the arms, rather surprisingly, are taken from Navy S.E.A.L. Torpedo (25th Anniversary). The lack of a newly sculpted head misses a golden opportunity to capture the character's trademark visor as it appears in Renegades. However, he is given a paint job that does match Snake Eyes' appearance in the cartoon in addition to several screen-accurate accessories among which include a stand, two daggers, two swords (one short, one long), a plasma gun, and a backpack.
