The Cobra Doom Cycle was released in 2010 as part of the first wave of G.I. Joe Pursuit of Cobra vehicles, Alpha assortment. None of the components used to create the Doom Cycle were used previously by Hasbro in any of their toy lines. The set included a driver figure named Storm Rider, who has an entirely new head sculpt but his body is that of the 25th Anniversary release of Shipwreck, with a new paint deco.
