Hasbro: G.I. Joe - 25th Anniversary
Yo Joe!
Dreadnok Torch (Dreadnok)

Character Bio:
By Vince Zannelli

File Name: Winken, Tom
Birthplace: Botany Bay, New South Wales, Australia
Bio: DREADNOK TORCH was remanded to Borstal (a reform school) at age fourteen. He escaped and went to sea in the Merchant Marine, where he learned the use of the cutting torch. This led him to his favorite pastime: taking things apart. He'll dismember cars, trucks, motorcycles or any other mechanical object with his collection of cutting torches. The subsequent wreckage is, to him, a work of art. This unrepentant thug has a penchant for sudden and unexpected violence, matched only by the utter depth of his stupidity. His specialty and modus operandi: he works with an oxyacetylene torch as a general cutter, mostly on remodeling stolen cards and occasional safecracking. He also scavenges the swamps for fun and profit. "What a fine sight that is, mate: a big pile of cut-up metal where a perfectly good truck used to be."

This version of Torch sports a repainted body from the 25th Anniversary Gung-Ho figure released as part of the G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary boxed set and includes a slightly repainted head from the wave 2 comic book two-pack from February '08, which included both Dreadnok Torch and Ripper. The figure is loosely based on his appearances in the vintage Marvel Comics G.I. Joe comic book series. Torch includes the same accessories included in his earlier comic book two-pack release from last year: a backpack with green fuel tank, flamethrower, and stand. The figure was intended to be used in an upcoming Hasbro comic book two-pack, but instead was packaged on a single card and included with the Resolute assortment.
