Comments: On a distant planet, Astronaught Taylor crashes to find a world inhabited and ruled by talking apes; where humans are the feral and hunted. The apes are divided into a strict class system: the orangutans as administrators, politicians, and lawyers; the chimpanzees as intellectuals and scientists; the gorillas as police, military, and hunters.
General Ursus is very much the stereotypical “mad general”. On top of being a brutish gorilla, he is mainly interested in his own dreams of conquest, glory, and power.
The first wave of Hot Toys’ 1/6 scale Planet Of The Apes Movie Masterpiece collection, including figures based on General Ursus, the Gorilla Captain, and the Gorilla Soldier, was released early in the forth quarter of 2009.
