Hot Toys' Nick Fury figure was the second to be released in their Avengers movie Masterpiece Series collection, following the special edition Iron Man Mark VI, even though it was the first to be revealed through a teaser image on January 23rd, 2012. The Fury figure was fully revealed on February 19th, 2012, and went up for pre-order the following day. It began shipping later that summer.
