Released in 2007, Hasbro's Spider-Man 3 action figure collection introduced a new scale of figures that were not well received by many toy buyers. The line, which mostly focused on the feature film, set the template for all of Hasbro's future Marvel movie action figure collections with plenty variations on the hero and main villains and not much else. One assortment of figures in this collection featured alternately designed characters to round out Spidey's rogues gallery. All the figures in this collection featured interactive accessories or action features.
