One of the more popular figures in the first wave of toys released in Toy Biz’ X-Men: The Movie toy line , the first Logan figure was released with one very significant variation. When initially released, the figure featured a calm facial expression and a red shirt, but near the end of its production run, the head was swapped out for one with a snarling smile and the shirt’s paint application was altered to create a more character-accurate plaid shirt.
Produced to be available during the theatrical release of the feature film, the X-Men: the Movie action figure collection by Toy Biz dominated the toy shelves in 2000.
