If there was one character absolutely defined in the feature film version of the X-Men storyline it was Erik Magnus Lehnsherr, the mutant known and feared as Magneto. Sadly, the dynamics of the feature film performance by Ian McKellen wasn’t translated very well in action figure form, and what should have been one of the best action figures of 2000 turned out to be one of the worst.
Produced to be available during the theatrical release of the feature film, the X-Men: the Movie action figure collection by Toy Biz dominated the toy shelves in 2000.
