Eagle eyed True Believers may have noticed that the packaging for Hasbro's 2012 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Avengers Super Helicarrier features five members of the Masters Of Evil, including Baron Zemo, Radioactive Man, and Tiger Shark (all of which are being offered in a three pack at SDCC), along with Whirlwind and Evil Goliath. As hinted at at NYCC, the original plan was for this to be an Avengers Verus Master Of Evil sort of deal that would have offered us Black Knight, Bearded Thor, Captain America, and the Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel, versus the above mentioned. Sadly, it didn't fit the targeted production costs and got scaled down. At this point I don't think we'll see Whirlwind, but Goliath maaaaay find its way out. Maybe. If you want to ensure these cancelled figures get released, we suggest you politely request that they make it into the line. If everyone lets Hasbro know their love for Marvel Universe, we stand a better chance at seeing more cool stuff. And remember, you'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
