Initially revealed in April 2012, the Transformers Decepticon Bruticus gift-set was made available to 2012 San Diego Comi-Con attendees at Hasbro's booth # 3329 for the retail price of $99.99. A small assortment was also made available to collectors through Hasbro's retail website HasbroToyShop.com. This set gives fans the opportunity to assemble Decepticon Bruticus as seen in Activion's Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron video game with other deluxe scale Transformers; Blast Off, Vortex, Decepticon Brawl, Swindle, and Onslaught. Along with the ability to combine these deluxe-size Transformers into Depcepticon Bruticus, each have three modes: vehicle, robot, and "combiner" mode. This special edition version also includes removable packaging resembling a silhouette of the Decepticon logo that becomes a display case for Bruticus.
