| Comments: Released on June 10, 2009, the first wave in DC Direct’s History Of The DC Universe action figure collection was released and included figures based on Blue Devil, Batman, Green Arrow, and Manhunter. This collection features more articulation than most DC Direct figures, but in some cases, the points are limited and in other cases completely redundant. The History Of The DC Universe action figures offer collectors an inferior product that seems to be designed to directly compete with Mattel’s DC Universe Classics line. Whether or not that is the reason, these figures are poorly designed, and ultimately waste good sculpts with ill-conceived points of articulation. |
