The first mini bust in NECA's series of collectibles based on the television series The Walking Dead was made available exclusively to collectors attending the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con. The 6 1/2" Deer Eating Zombie mini bust saw a production run of only 1,200 pieces (along with 120 artist proofs) and was sold at the convention for $50 and featured a certificate of Authenticity signed by the show's Special Makeup Effects Supervisor Greg Nicotero.
