Ertl: Star Trek III
Stunning
MR. SPOCK
3 ¾” Action Figure

What the heck is this? Bet you didn’t know that Ertl made Star Trek action figures. Don’t worry, you aren’t alone. Most collectors are completely unaware of this short-lived action figure collection from 1984. The line lasted only one wave, featuring 3 ¾” O-ring figures based on Captain Kirk, Klingon Leader, Mr. Spock, and Scotty. Each figure came with one single accessory and sported ten points of articulation, not unlike Hasbro’s first wave of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and Mego’s The Black Hole & Buck Rogers action figure collections.

Oddly enough, Mr. Spock only wore this uniform in the flashback scene at the beginning of the film, all of that footage was shot and used in Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. So, technically, this costume is completely inaccurate for the film the line represented.
