The fifth release in a series of six announced Masters of the Universe Giants 1:6 scale action figures, Giant Zodac was revealed on Mattel's Matty Collector website in a video review (February, 2015) which showcased Giant Zodac & Man-At-Arms. Zodac was the first jumbo-sized vintage figure to be offered outside of the Club MOTU Giants figure subscription service, which ended with the release of Giant Beast Man in December, 2014. He was made available for sale on March 16, 2015 ($75.00 USD) as a part of the regular monthly sale.
Using the template of a vintage Zodac action figure, the Giant Zodac boasts a 12" scale format, rubber-banded legs for flexibility, removable chest armor, and features the infamous power punch twist-waist action feature that the original figures were well-known for. The classic 1982 cross-sell watercolor design was used for the figure's cardback, and the "belly-button" blister packaging from the vintage (and modern) smaller-scale classics line was once again utilized for Zodac. The only included accessory is his signature weapon, the cosmic blaster.
