It is obvious that the creative team at NECA love the Predator films, and it never was never more clear how much until they offered the 2011 San Diego Comic-con exclusive Gort Masked Preadtor. THis figure is based on the original prototype helmet created by the Stan Winston group but not used in the original 1987 feature film. In fact, if not for the behind the scenes footage on the DVD and the Stan Winston “Winston Effect” book, no one would have even known this vision of the iconic hunting alien existed! This Classic Predator also includes a newly sculpted left hand and a skull and spine trophy accessory. This figure saw a limited production run of only 2,000 pieces and was available only at SDCC at a price of $20 each.
