The Wild Bill (Helicopter Pilot) figure accurately updates the original design which debuted as the pack in figure from the Assault Coptor Dragonfly (XH-1) vehicle from series two of the original G.I. Joe A Real American Hero line in 1983. This new version differs slightly from the original 1983 figure, by way of the removable hat and flak jacket, both of which were moulded onto the original figure.
