Preview images of Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes action figure were first released in February 2013. Deemed the second wave of the 2013 Marvel Legends line, in its entirety, consists of Iron Man Mark 42, Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes, and Ultron, while the first series of Iron Man action figures consists of Heroic Age Iron Man, Classic Iron Man and Iron Patriot. All action figures within these series contain a build-a-figure piece to build your very own over-sized Iron Monger action figure. Hasbro’s second assortment of Marvel Legends Iron Man Action figures began shipping in April 2013.

Hasbro’s depiction of Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes features a red, white, and blue suit of iron armor as seen in the Iron Man 3 film, and much like the Iron Man Mark 42 action figure of this second wave, possesses a great amount of intricate detail and multiple points of articulation. Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes also includes a gun that gets fixed into his back for stability. This action figure comes packaged with the left arm of the Iron Monger build-a-figure.
