Driven by the deaths of his family members, the Punisher, also known as Frank Castle, is a vigilante who fights a war on crime. Portrayed by Hasbro in his signature skull shirt, the Punisher (Marvel’s Knights) bears a trench coat, which is reused from Fantomex in series two, a mostly new sculpt, and includes a slew of weapons; sniper rifle, assault rifle, sub-machine pistol, and a riot shotgun.

The first images of Hasbro’s third assortment of Marvel Legends action figures were released on May 19, 2012 and featured the cardback art for X-Force Deadpool, and Blade/Punisher. Hitting store shelves in September 2012, and deemed the “Epic Heroes” assortment, wave three in its entirety consists of Mystique or Danielle Moonstar variant, X-Force outfit Deadpool or regular outfit Deadpool variant, Punisher or Blade variant, Doctor Doom or white outfit Doctor Doom variant, Neo-Classic Iron Man, and U.S. Agent.
