G.I. Joe and Transformers, like peanut butter and jelly, make a great pair. As such, Hasbro offered fans of both franchises the Shockwave H.I.S.S. Tank as an exclusive for the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con. This slight retooling of the G.I. Joe: Retaliation H.I.S.S. Tank, which in and of itself is a retooling of the 2010 Pursuit Of Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank V5, features a switch out cannon piece and an alternate nose piece that in combination with its color deco resembles Decepticon Shockwave.

In addition to the vehicle, this set also includes a neon green Cobra B.A.T. (reminiscent of the Transformers' Constructicon), a purple suited Destro, and a Soundwave tape deck / backpack with Ratbat, Laserbeak, and Ravage cassettes (collectors under twenty years old, you can now Google 'cassettes'). Three Energon cubes, a push cart, and, naturally, a case of money are also included.
