Fearing the day that her own beauty will be eclipsed by her young stepdaughter, the Evil Queen forced Snow White to work as a scullery maid in the castle, hoping that her loveliness would be tarnished by the labor. Daily, the queen asks the Magic Mirror to reveal who is the fairest in the land, taking comfort in her own reflection. One day, the mirror shows Snow White, and the Evil Queen furiously orders a huntsman to take her deep into the woods, kill her and bring back her heart. But the huntsman is kind and instead tells Snow White to run away and never return. Learning that her stepdaughter is still alive, the Evil Queen uses witchcraft to transform herself into a haggard old woman and produce a poisoned apple. Traveling into the woods, the queen tricks Snow White into taking a bite of the apple, and Snow White falls asleep, only to be awakened by true love's kiss.
The Evil Queen Premium Format Figure made its debut at the 2009 San Diego Comic Convention and began shipping in late March, 2010.
