Comments:
The Sabretooth figure saw a couple of significant variations through out its production run. The earliest version of this figure featured a dark brown paint wash on the hair (not shown), and a handgun accessory for the police officer pack in figure. Very early on in the production run, the figure had a paint change that saw the brown replaced with a soft yellow wash, giving the figure a more film-accurate appearance. Shortly after the paint change, Toy Biz opted to remove the handgun accessory, leaving collectors looking for three distinct variations of Sabretooth.
Produced to be available during the theatrical release of the feature film, the X-Men: the Movie action figure collection by Toy Biz dominated the toy shelves in 2000.
