Hasbro: G.I. Joe -25th Anniversary
Yo Joe
Firefly Vs. Storm Shadow
G.I. Joe Comic Pack

Character Bio:
By Vince Zannelli

Bounding off of the success of 3 3/4" comic book multi-packs from the early 2000s, Hasbro released a number of comic book 3 3/4" 2-packs beginning in 2008 and are still currently being released. While very few newly sculpted pieces were incorporated in the production of the packs, they did feature a variety of retooled and repainted figures and accessories as well as a high-quality reprint of either a modern or classic G.I. Joe comic. Later in the line, newly written comics created exclusively for these 2-packs were penned by G.I. Joe legend Lary Hama and featured covers and interior art by renown industry professionals.

Firefly is a mixture of previously released body parts and contains no newly sculpted pieces; however, his accessories are far superior to any previous Firefly release and includes a storage case that houses a large flashlight, plastic explosives, a gas can, and a knife. His removable goggles and body armor are exclusive to this release as well.

This version of Storm Shadow uses many different 25th anniversary body parts with only the head being recycled from a previously released Storm Shadow figure. As with the Firefly figure included with this piece, the accessories are the biggest draw. He comes with sickles, swords, an attack claw reminiscent of his 1988 figure release, rope, and oddly enough, happens to include a gun, which is the first time in the figure's rich history that such a weapon has been added to his arsenal.
