This version of the classic 1985 off-road buggy has been repainted in a desert tan camo color (and has also been slightly retooled) which varies greatly from the traditional olive drab green found on the vintage release and early 2000s re-releases. Using an independent suspension, this 4 wheel drive vehicle is not heavily armored, but is one of the fastest Joe Team ground vehicles and includes a detailed mid-engine as well as a large roof mounted long-range 70mm automatic launcher and a passenger dash mounted infrared sighting console. The AWE Striker is capable of accommodating 4 figures, which includes 2 in the cabin and 1 on each of the 2 side mounted battle platforms. The large roll bar structure provides support for rugged play and leverage for the Joes on their various off-road missions.
