| Comments: Launched in the beginning of 2008 and picking up where the DC Super Heroes line left off, Mattel’s DC Universe Classics line took us much deeper into the DCU. The line dropped the Superman and Batman line focuses in favour of a build-a-figure concept. Dubbed Collect & Connect Action Figures, the first wave offered toy buyers five unique figures, including Batman, Orion, the Penguin, The Demon, Etrigan, and the Red Tornado. Each figure came packaged with an extra appendage, which when combined together created a figure based on Metamorpho. |
