Based on the original Mattel Masters of the Universe action figure from 1987, the ruthless Horde leader Hordak is back in the MOTU Classics line and armed with a blaster blade! This controversial release was first revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, and was the August Club Eternia exclusive figure.

Many subscribed to the belief that Buzz Saw Hordak did not offer enough of a difference from the initial Hordak release in the Classics line to merit another figure, since the only notable difference is that Buzz Saw Hordak has his saw accessory stored in a hinged chest cavity that serves as his action feature. However, it should be noted that this Classics release is necessary for those who wish to keep pace with the vintage Masters of the Universe action figure line.

Available for purchase through Mattel's Matty Collector website, Buzz Saw Hordak began shipping the second week of August 2015 to club subscribers and to those who placed an order during the August monthly sale.
