Frodo Baggins inherits a seemingly innocent ring from his Uncle Bilbo, and is bequeathed with the ominous task of leaving the Shire to undertake a journey that will take him across Middle-earth. Frodo's quest is to destroy the One Ring before it is found by its creator, Sauron, the Dark Lord. If the One Ring and it's creator are reunited, Middle-earth will forever be enslaved.
