Diamond Select Toys: Your Guide To Cylon Variants

Now that you've had a chance to marvel over Diamond Select Toys' Battlestar Galactica Cylon Centurion figure, know that there are a number of variants out there for die-hard fans (like us!) to track down and add to their collection. But in case you've gotten lost on the number of variations there are and where to get them, here's a handy guide you will need to build up your army of toasters!
PAST AND PRESENT CYLONS
Cylon Centurion (Series 2)
This is the basic figure from wave 2, which was recently added to our Photo Archive. With multiple points of articulation and alternate hands, this alone would be a enough to build an army of variants. But what fun would that be?
Cylon Centurion (Downloaded) - San Diego Comic Con 2008 Giveaway
This figure was a giveaway during SDCC last year, and we've got a new gallery of the figure. This one sports a lighter grey deco, for a striking design.
Cylon Centurion (Valley of Darkness) - San Diego Comic Con 2008 Exclusive
Another exclusive available during last year's Comic Con. Based on the "Valley of Darkness" episode, and featuring a bloody splatter effect as the centurions disposed of those pesky humans.
Cylon Centurion (Civil War) - Toys "R" Us Exclusive
Currently available in Toy "R" Us stores (if you can find them, that is!) is a figure with a much darker color scheme, also with some blast marks and dents in the armor. Keep your eyes open for these.
Cylon Centurion (New Caprica) - ThinkGeek.com Exclusive
Similar to the basic figure, but a slightly different shade of grey, this figure is based on the time when the Cylons invaded New Caprica and captured the humans in the new settlement.
UPCOMING CYLONS
Cylon Razor (Series 3)
Based on the Razor movie special, these "flashback" designs of the Cylons are inspired from the classic TV show, as this pilot figure shows.
Cylon Razor Warrior (Warrior) - ToyRocket.com Exclusive
A variant from the Razor movie, the warrior model is more of a silvery color, with a bit more armor for deflecting enemy fire.
Cylon Centurion (Battle-Damaged) - ActionFigureXpress.com Exclusive
Available as a 2-pack, these centurions have seen some action, and have come out on the losing side.
Cylon Centurion (Stealth) New York Comic Con 2009 Exclusive
Just announced this week, a stealth deco version of the centurion will be available exclusively at the Diamond Select Toys booth during New York Comic Con 2009 next month!
