Posted by Curto on March 16, 2010 at 07:23 PM CST:

For your viewing pleasure, here is a hi-rez gallery of the just-released and upcoming toys from Hasbro's brand-new Iron Man 2 toy line!

If you've been to the toy stores lately, you may notice an onslaught of Iron Man 2 hitting shelves, with ol' shellhead making a triumphant return to the big screen with an all-new movie, a new villain, and he's bringing along some other heroes as well!

Here's a handy guide to help keep track of the new toys from Hasbro, as well as a few sneak peeks at what else is coming this year

Basic Figures
Continuing in the 4" scale, look for these great Iron Man 2 figures split up into 3 different themes: Comic Series, Movie Series, and Concept Series.

Comic Series - These suits of armor are based on designs from the comic books over the years, as well as some of shellhead's friends and enemies.

  • Guardsman
  • Iron Man (1990s Armor)
  • Iron Man (Hulkbuster Armor)
  • Iron Man (Pointy Mask)

Movie Series - these figures are based on the movies...this wave is specifically focused on IRON MAN 2.
  • Iron Man (Mark IV)
  • Iron Man (Mark VI)
  • Iron Man (Mark VI) with Power-Up Glow
  • War Machine
  • Ivan "Whiplash" Vanko

Concept Series - These "What If?" designs are based on abandoned concepts from the movies.
  • Iron Man (Fusion Armor)
  • Iron Man (Inferno Mission Armor)

Deluxe Figures - These figures are just a way to get some extra accessories added for the kids. It appears the figures are all the same figure, just in different colors.
  • Iron Man (Juggernaut Upgrade)
  • Iron Man (Negative Zone Upgrade)
  • Iron Man (Shockwave Mission)

Vehicles - While IRON MAN doesn't need a car, Tony Stark does....so think of this as a car that just needs a Tony Stark figure. But since there isn't one (yet), just make use of the pack-in Iron Man.
  • Mark VI Red Vortex

Super Hero Squad - Those lovable cute & cuddly versions of the Marvel Super Heroes are back...featuring Iron Man and his amazing friends...and enemies!
  • Armor Evolutions
  • Armor Wars Part I
  • Armor Wars Part II

Role Play Toys - What kid doesn't want to dress up as the armored avenger? Here are a few toys that will allow that to happen.
  • ARC Light (Mark III)
  • ARC Light (Mark VI)

Iron Racers - This line is strictly for the kids...I don't know if kids really buy these, but nearly every Marvel movie seems to have these toys.
  • Armor Cycle
  • Quantum Quad
  • Turbo Racer

Micro Playsets - For years, collectors have been asking for playsets, but tehy are simply too expensive to produce...so here's a great alternative. Hey it worked for Star Wars for a little while....why not try to bring it back?
  • Iron Monger Head
  • Iron Man Mark III Head
  • Iron Man Mark VI Head
  • War Machine Head

Other Toys - Here are a bunch of other expressions for kids to play with their toys and create their own Iron Man adventures!
  • Iron Man Mark VI 8" Action Figure
  • War Machine 8" Action Figure
  • NERF Iron Strike Blaster
  • Rocket Boost Iron Man
  • Repulsor Power Iron Man Mark VI
  • Tony Starch (Mr. Potato Head)
