Hasbro's Marvel Comics Q&A: The Answers!
Posted by Curto on November 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM CST:

We've passed on 3 of your burning Marvel Comics questions! So check out the latest scoop we've got for you this all-new, all-different monthly Q&A session with Hasbro.

Cool Toy Review: Now that we're getting a Ghost Rider....doesn't he need something to, you know...ride? Where's his motorcycle??

Hasbro: Seriously - we're with you! Maybe we need to go the ultra classic route and bring the vengeance?on a horse!

Cool Toy Review:There seems to be some confusion over the Masterworks Series Sentinels revealed at Comic-Con....exactly how many will there be, and who will be the pack-in figure?

Hasbro: Halt mutant! We've already let a lot of news out of the bag on this one. Since it won't hit retail until August of 2011, we're going to keep a couple of these details close to the vest. We'll share the rest of the surprise someday in the future!

Cool Toy Review: why did HasbroToyShop start selling cases of MU instead of singles this is highly inconvenient for most collectors who already have the repeats? There are already websites dedicated to selling full cases, so this move by HTS seems very odd and now leaves those collectors who only want one or two at a time out in the rain.

Hasbro: HasbroToyShop will be selling both full cases AND single figures going forward. At the moment, the single figure inventory has sold out so only full cases are available.

BONUS! Hasbro was able to recover our "lost" Q&A session, so we're bringing you two rounds in one this month!

Cool Toy Review: Why are Marvel Universe figures no longer sold individually on HTS? They are now only sold by the case.

Hasbro: HasbroToyShop will be selling both full cases AND single figures going forward. At the moment, the single figure inventory has sold out so only full cases are available.

Cool Toy Review: When the shelf space is entirely taken up by Iron Man Mark 3, 4, 5, 6, glowing 6, classic Iron Man and a couple of other Iron Man armors at every store that carries them, why are you still cramming those figures into every case?

Hasbro: We give you our word?there are only 12 figures in each case.

Cool Toy Review: Also, with the Marvel Universe line so hard to find and stores removing shelf space for them, are you planning anything to revitalize store's interest in this line? Maybe having some kind of mail in promo for new receipts or a turn in for all of the Marvel universe Iron Man figures that are also not moving in stores that still have shelf space for Marvel Universe.

Hasbro: Marvel Universe lost a few pegs over the summer due to the flashflood of awesome summer entertainment, but from what we're seeing it's back to full strength now. Hopefully you're seeing the same thing in your area.
