Mattel Q&A Session: The Answers

As part of Mattel's bi-weekly Q&A session, Cool Toy Review passed on 3 of your burning questions and now we've got the answers for you.
Cool Toy Review: Recently, it was announced that the DC Infinite Heroes Teen Titans-themed set of Mallah's Revenge was canceled. Why? More importantly for fans of this line, will the figures find their way to the public? There were some fantastic-looking figures in there!
Mattel: The pack was put on the back burner because we did not receive enough orders to go into production. We are looking at ways to bring it back. We just need retailers to commit to buying the pack before we can give it the green light.
And while we would love to just put it on Mattycollector.com, currently the sales of the DCUC 2 packs and JLU packs are not currently justifying bringing a heavily tooled items like this to the site. If online sales increase for DCU items, we can always review this option. You vote with your continued interest in online DCU product!
Cool Toy Review: First of all, congratulations on the upcoming Ghostbusters line! They look amazng, and I can't wait to add them to my collection. At NYCC it was stated that the 6" Ghostbusters figures would include a ghost with each figure. Only a handful of individual ghost are seen in the film (Slimer, Terror dogs, cab driver, Librarian, & a ghost that rises from a subway entrance). Some of these ghosts are large enough to be individual figures. So, what ghosts will be included with the 6" movie figures?
Mattel: The ghosts that will be packed in with the 6? figures will be all ?Slimer scale?. And while there are only a limited number of Ghosts in the films in this scale, we are also looking at the upcoming Atari Video game, the animated series and the original Kenner toy line for inspiration. Monsters like Zeul or the Terror Dogs would get their own figure and would not be shrunk down as a pack in!
Cool Toy Review: From a persistent reader: I've asked this before and I will keep asking till I hear them give an answer.....where is the modern Red Tornado variant?
Mattel: Still in mid spin. We are always looking at ways to get to him and other MIA figures into the line. The problem is it is hard to say ?we won?t produce this all new figure? so that we can get modern Red Tornado in. It is more likely he would wind up in a multipack of sorts and we are talking to retailers about options like this.
