BATMAN: The Brave and the Bold?
2009 Fact Sheet

Mattel continues its long-standing partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Comics as the master toy licensee for the hugely popular Batman franchise. Following the unprecedented success of 2008?s The Dark Knight theatrical release, Warner Bros. launched a new animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold? in November 2008 on Cartoon Network, the #1 network for boys. Airing during an amped-up action block of kids? favorite television shows, the power-packed animated series, which features the lighter side of Batman, is set to be a big hit with boys ages 4-11. In each episode, Batman teams up with a different DC Universe partner (Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Plastic Man and more) to fight crime in Gotham City and beyond.

Mattel has developed a line of exciting toys around a new system called ?Snap and Switch? that captures the action, drama and thrill of the new series. This spring?s Batman toy lineup allows boys to Team up! Build up! and Save the Day!? Mattel brings to life the themes and heroic action of the series this spring with Batman: The Brave and the Bold? Deluxe Figures, Battle Pack? assortment and the exciting new Cyber-Tank.

The fall line introduces a Batmobile like no other Batmobile produced ? the Batmobile transforms from vehicle to Batjet with a kid-powered transformation feature, featuring two vehicles in one.
