Proving that speculation can never be 100% accurate, Hot Toys' teaser from the other day has been unofficially revealed to be four 10th Anniversary store exclusive figures. The exclusives include 1/6 scale figures of the mysterious villain known as "Friend" from the Japanese feature film franchise called 20th Century Boys, Michael Jackson as he appeared in the Beat It video, and Scarecrow & the Demonic version of Batman from the Batman Begins feature film. Hot Toys Serves It Up This Christmas?
Hot Toys has released a somewhat cryptic teaser image that suggests three new announcements this Christmas. While there is a bit of speculation as to what the symbols mean, one could translate the spoon represents Neo from the Matrix, the cherubs and heart seem to match Michael Jackson's T-Shirt in the Beat It video, and the Batman is a bit more self-explanatory. Many collectors are guessing that it has to be Michael Keaton's 1989 Batman, but it could also be the Adam West version or even the Val Kilmer or George Clooney versions, or just another figure in there Dark Knight collection. Carrying through on that thought, how great would it be if they got past the licensing issues with Gary Oldman's likeness? What do you think? Full Report
