Posted by Curto on May 14, 2010 at 02:01 PM CST:

We've passed on 3 of your burning Marvel Comics questions! So check out the latest scoop we've got for you this all-new, all-different monthly Q&A session with Hasbro.

Cool Toy Review: I was wondering if you could explain the Marvel Universe character selection process...is a character's look more important than his overall importance to the Marvel Universe? A couple of examples would be the recent Warpath and Sunfire figures, which are super cool by the way. Both characters a pretty cool-looking, but minor background characters compared to say Bishop, Rogue, or Cable, who are all main characters. On a similar note...do you sit down and say this wave will be Avengers-focused, or X-Men-focused, and so on. Thanks for the cool figures and keep up the good work.

Hasbro: When devising the Marvel Universe line we create a list of characters to feature in the upcoming year. We then try to balance waves to give exciting assortment options throughout the year. We try to make each assortment captivating for our fans.

In regards to the characters you have mentioned, we do plan to highlight them over a period of time.

Cool Toy Review: With the Secret Wars Comic packs and the upcoming Galactus, we've gotten a seems there is a chance to see ALL of the participants in this inaugural crossover event made in the 4" scale line. However, there are a lot of characters still missing! Can you confirm if characters like She-Hulk (Avengers AND FF costumes!), Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau), Professor X, Rogue, Lockheed, Kang, The Lizard, Molecule Man, Doctor Octopus, Volcana, Titania, the 2nd version of Doctor Doom, and Professor X (from the final issues) and maybe even Zsaji are even on the radar? Single-carded or multipacks, whatever...it would just be cool to get them all!

Hasbro: Yes, many of these characters are on our radar! Lockheed is definitely a character within the next year. All of the characters you have referenced are cool. One day we hope to say that we have highlighted all of them. Zsaji might be tough, but you just never know!

Cool Toy Review: Now that Iron Man 2 has taken over nearly all retailers, is there any room for the rest of the Marvel Universe? While it's understandable to take advantage of the movie release, it seems like EVERYTHING is all about Iron Man right now, and we NEED more Marvel!

Hasbro: While our retail partners are very excited by the launch of Iron Man's new movie, they certainly have not forgotten about Marvel Universe! Marvel Universe has a larger assortment and stronger presence at retail than ever before!
