Based on the highly-acclaimed comic strip by legendary creator Will Eisner, The Spirit tells the story of a murdered cop who comes back from the dead to protect the streets of Central City. Adapted by another legendary comic book creator Frank Miller, the movie faithfully recreates the style and drama from the classic comics, with state-of-the-art special effects and style!
Mezco Toyz's THE SPIRIT toy line brings the life 5 characters from the silver screen adaptation, loaded with articulation and accessories! The first wave includes:
The Spirit The star of the film, The Spirit naturally features the most points of articulation than the rest of the figures, alternate hands for fist-fighting action, city-style accessories, and one of his pet cats to boot. There's a lot to love with this figure, with multiple poseability for a variety of city-watching options!
The Octopus Every hero needs a good villain, and for The Spirit, there's none better than The Octopus! This over-the-top ne'er-do-well wants to wipe out everyone in Central City...and he's got he firepower to pull it off! While not as articulated as The Spirit, this figures does a great job capturing the insanity of the character from the film, with multiple hands, oversized reviolvers, and even a severed head!
Sand Saref The former love interest from The Spirit's former life, Sand Saref is now a professional jewel thief and a force to be reckoned with. This figure is another great representation of the character from the film, armed for battle to protect her stolen loot.
Plaster of Paris One of the many femme fatales in The Spirit's life, the sultry Plaster of Paris is one dangerous dancer! The only figure to need a base to stand on (due to the dancing pose she's in), she's deadly with a dagger or a sword...watch out!
Thug Because The Octopus needs underlings, this homegrown Thug may not have much in the way of brains, but this dynamic figure easily wins the ugly contest! Although there are many copies in the film, this one --dubbed "Adios"-- comes with an alternate right arma nd a machine gun. One or a hundred thugs, it's all the same to The Spirit....just one more obstacle to beat down in his mission to protect the city.
