According to an article released by The Associated Press, Warner Bros. has infringed on Fox's original story rights, and a trial is imminent. Photo Archive: Diddy Kong Racing - Banjo
Today's Photo Archive update is a special favorite...Way back in 1999 Toy Biz came out with a series of action figures based on popular video games, called Video Game Super Stars. Now one of the most popular games at the time was Diddy Kong Racing, which included a lovable bear known as Banjo, who made it into the line as a terrific figure. Banjo is now better known as the star of his own game series, Banjo-Kazooie, which recently got a new game called "Nuts & Bolts". Sadly, since this figure was made before then, there is no Kazooie in Banjo's backpack. Perhaps one day... Full Report

Here's one last Photo Archive update for tonight...or at least part of an update. The Aliens Vs. Predator franchise kicked off in 1990 with a Dark Horse Comics limited series that was a huge hit with fans. When Kenner created the Aliens line, they made a special action figure set with both combatants and a mini comic book. Hasbro: First Glimpse At X-Men Origins Wolverine Line
Images showing off hat would appear to be the first wave of Hasbro's 3 3/4" X-Men Origins: Wolverine action figure collection. Not unlike Toy Biz's X-Men 3 line, this set of figures has nothing to do with the film itself, but instead follows the comic book history of the selected characters. The introductory wave includes Wolverine in his classic brown John Byrne designed X-Men costume, Strike Mission Wolverine, Sabertooth, Deadpool, Maverick, and Gambit. Other figures shown on the card back include Wolverine in his original yellow X-Men costume, Weapon X, and Logan.
