As the original Class of '79 gets greyer, our interests have a tendency to refine themselves and mature along with us. Our geek flags may be forever fluttering in the wind, but our tastes might be a bit more sophisticated than they once were. As such, we are always looking for ways to connect our childhood passions with our adult tastes, and we need not look any further than the amazing artwork of Robert Xavier Burden. NECA Will Hear Each And Every One Of Us Scream With Joy... Even If We Were In Space.
Following the Jonesy on display in their booth at the San Diego Comic-Con last month, NECA has released a new teaser image revealing the very early wax sculpt of the spacesuit. Click the thumbnail to have a closer look. The line is set to hit shelves, both retail and ours, next year. The big question that we are dying to have answered (that NECA is keeping their lips sealed about) is whether Ripley will be included in the assortment. We all know that they wouldn't produce the figure if they couldn't secure Sigourney Weaver's likeness, and to date no company has been able to crack that egg. Something is telling us that the big reveal will be the first Ripley figure that looks like Ripley... Time will tell. Full Report

Revealed to the public last month at their booth at the San Diego Comic-Con, Kotobukiya has now officially announced that their upcoming ARTFX New 52 Deathstroke statue will come with the awesome name plate base. As you will notice from the original announcement last May, the statue stands firmly without any assistance but having the option to put it on this cool silver base is very cool.
