Before even opening this beautiful display piece, the packaging really captures the essence of late 30's Hollywood movie poster. It's got a great gold age vibe to it. The design of the pose itself really captures a sense of exhilaration in the flight.
There is an immense attention to detail in everything from the outfit, to the iconic jetpack and helmet, and even the thrust. Speaking of which, we love the addition of the chewing gum over the hole on the jetpack. Diamond Select Toys really nailed the details and didn't take any shortcuts. You can see Cliff's head and hair peaking out from under the helmet and you can even see the carefully crafted thrust controls in his hands. The amazing detail not he jetpack doesn't just capture every rivet but the exhaust fan behind the screen as well. Even the boots have carefully crafted laces.
If you are a Rocketeer fan, than this is a must for your hobby room or desk. You can still find this one on Diamond Select's website here.
