San Diego Comic-Con is back and as always Cool Toy Review, and our sister site Rebelscum, are bringing you up to the second coverage of the event. Like the the last few years this year's coverage will be broken down by company to make it easier for you to follow the companies you collect. DC COLLECTIBLES

The DC Collectibles Sneak Peek

Before the doors opened for Preview Night at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, DC Collectibles held a special sneak peek event showing off some of the new stuff they were going to put in their display as well as a few pieces that may not be ready for public reveal just quite yet. Click through for the gallery we could publish. Beyond this set of images, they also had displayed action figures of Kid Flash, Superboy and Wonder Girl in their New 52 Teen Titans costumes, a new Poison Ivy Women Of The DCU statue as well as design art for DC Bombshells Zatanna and Stargirl!

Our 2013 San Diego Comic-Con continues with a new gallery showing off all that was on display in the DC Collectibles booth.




DIAMOND SELECT

The Diamond Select Toys Booth

The next booth we visited had some great stuff that we couldn't photograph, such as the Aliens Minimates set, the 7-inch Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) figure based on her Thor: The Dark World appearance, and '66 Batman and Robin mini busts. Despite not being able to share these cool items with you, there were still plenty other new items at the Diamond Select Toys booth that we could! FACTORY ENTERTAINMENT

The Factory Entertainment Booth

One booth that we'd like to point out with very special interest in our 2013 San Diego Comic-Con coverage is the The Factory Direct booth. Our friends at Factory had many cool items on display, and judging by the crowds surrounding their booth at all hours of the show, we aren't the only ones digging what they are doing!

Our 2013 San Diego Comic-Con continues with a closer look at Hasbro's Marvel offerings. Follow the above link to check out their Wolverine, Marvel Legends, Marvel Universe, Spider-Man, Thor: The Dark World, Avengers and other related lines!




Hasbro's G.I. Joe Display

Despite it being a movie year, Hasbro's 2013 San Diego Comic-Con G.I. Joe display wasn't as large as we were expecting, and all the pieces displayed were shown during Toy Fair. That said, the figures being offered up soon are all really cool. If the Kwinn hasn't won your heart over, the classic Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow are sure to do the trick.




Hasbro's Marvel Panel Image Gallery

On Friday afternoon at San Diego Comic-Con, the Hasbro Marvel panel unveiled new items from the Captain America: The Winter Soldier line, Thor: The Dark World line, Iron Man 3 line and more, and we now have posted a gallery of images for all of the figures that were revealed.

HOT TOYS

The Hot Toys Display

Like past San Diego Comic-Cons, Hot Toys has their figures and related items on display in the Sideshow Collectibles booth. Unlike previous years however, the 2013 display is huge and makes up about 1/4 of the space. Check out all the cool stuff on display in the Kotobukiya booth including the first three prototypes in their upcoming Avengers ARTFX+ collection, two new Marvel Fine Arts statues, the four newest DC New 52 ARTFX+ statues and a pile of Bishoujo prototypes!




MATTEL

Mattel's Masters Of The Universe Display

Considering how big of a company Mattel is, it is rewarding to know that the people behind their Matty Collector efforts are listening to their consumer base and the proof is in the pudding at the Masters Of The Universe display in their San Diego Comic-Con booth with the totally reworked Castle Grayskull. When it was shown to us at Toy Fair, it was already very cool, but some collectors had concerns, and Mattel addressed all of them with the new version. Mattel's DC Comics Action Figure Displays

You can't swing a cat at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con without hitting a 1966 Batman product, and we're alright with that. For 7-inch articulated action figures, we love what they had on display in their booth. Mattel's Action Figure Displays Update

After their Mattypalooza at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con, Mattel added some new figures into their DC Universe displays. Follow this link to see all the new action figures on display.




Mattel's Monster High Display

When it comes to Mattel toy lines one stands out above all others, and we are certain time will tell that Monster High may reach Star Wars level collectible values and long term interest. Wrapping up our 2013 San Diego Comic-Con coverage from Mattel, we've added a gallery of front and reverse photos of Mattel's newly revealed MOUTC figures, announced during their Mattypalooza panel. If you've never been to the San Diego Comic-Con, let us tell you right now that the Sideshow Collectibles booth is massive, and you may be able to appreciate just how large it is from part 1 of our gallery. On Thursday morning, Sideshow Collectibles gave us an opportunity to shoot their entire 2013 San Diego Comic-Con booth without the protective covers. Of course, as we said before, their display is massive, so even at this there is more to shoot, but this new gallery takes a great big dent out of it! Follow this link to have a closer look!

SQUARE ENIX

The Square Enix Booth

Square Enix had a number of new reveals on display at Comic-Con, including some incredibly detailed Star Trek figures that will please Trekkies looking for high-quality figures based on the J.J. Abrams' reboot. Set your phasers for stunning and click through to view the full Square Enix's gallery and see the other reveals that include figures based on the Alien, Batman, Assassin's Creed and Robocop licenses.

The Super7 Booth

If there were one line of figures we were most excited to see at this year's San Diego Comic-Con it would be none other than the Alien ReAction Figures at the Super7 booth, and we weren't the only ones! Their 1979 Advance Promotional Sample two pack sold out on Preview Night, and the line up for the Early Bird set has been steady since the doors have opened!
